1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Motorix mobile application (the "App"), you ("user", "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") and by the Motorix Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Motorix. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Service Description

Motorix is a vehicle management application that helps users track insurance, technical inspections (ITP), road tax (rovinieta), CASCO, service history, fuel consumption and related costs. The App also offers an opt-in messaging feature that lets vehicle owners contact each other based on the visible license plate. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

4. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at alexandru.arhire@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. User Data & Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant Motorix a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and transmit that data solely to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data;
Reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the App's security;
Send spam, phishing attempts or unsolicited commercial messages;
Impersonate any other person or misrepresent your affiliation.

7. User-Generated Content & Community Guidelines

Motorix has zero tolerance for objectionable, abusive or harassing content or behavior. The community messaging feature exists to help legitimate vehicle owners communicate (e.g. "your headlights are on", "you are blocking my car"). It is not a social network or a public forum.

7.1 Prohibited Content

You may NOT post, send, share or otherwise transmit through the messaging feature any content that:

Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors;
Is hateful, racist, discriminatory, or incites violence;
Harasses, threatens, stalks, defames or intimidates another person;
Promotes self-harm, illegal drugs, weapons or criminal activity;
Contains spam, scams, fraudulent offers or phishing attempts;
Infringes any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right;
Discloses personal information of third parties without their consent;
Is otherwise unlawful, deceptive, or objectionable in our sole judgment.

7.2 Reporting Mechanism

Every conversation in Motorix exposes a Report action that lets you flag a message or a user for one of the following reasons: Spam, Harassment, Inappropriate content, Other. Reports are sent to the moderation team and are reviewed within 24 hours.

7.3 Blocking Mechanism

Every conversation also exposes a Block action that immediately prevents the blocked user from sending you further messages or appearing in your inbox. You can manage your blocked-users list and unblock at any time from Settings → Contact Settings.

7.4 Moderation & Account Termination

We will review every report within 24 hours and take one or more of the following actions, depending on severity:

Issue a written warning to the reported user;
Remove specific messages or content;
Temporarily suspend the reported account;
Permanently terminate the reported account ("eject the abusive user");
Report unlawful activity to the competent authorities.

Reporting a user automatically blocks that user on your account. We may also act on objectionable behavior we detect proactively, without a prior report.

7.5 Opt-Out

The messaging feature is opt-in. You can disable it at any time from Settings → Contact Settings → Allow messages. When disabled, other users cannot start new conversations with you.

8. Vehicle Sharing

When you share a vehicle with another user, that user can view (and, if you grant Editor role, edit) the vehicle's data. You can revoke the invitation or the access at any time from the vehicle's detail screen.

9. Notifications & Reminders

Motorix sends push notifications about document expiry dates. These are reminders only. You remain solely responsible for ensuring that your insurance, ITP, rovinieta, CASCO and any other documents are valid and renewed on time.

10. Advertising

The free version of Motorix displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free version you agree to be shown advertising. You may remove ads by purchasing the optional in-app "Remove Ads" upgrade.

11. In-App Purchases

Motorix offers optional one-time and subscription in-app purchases (for example, "Remove Ads"). Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and are subject to the respective platform's terms. Refunds are governed by the platform that processed the transaction.

12. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motorix and its developer are not liable for any fines, penalties, missed deadlines, data loss, vehicle damage or any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the App. The reminder feature is a convenience and not a guarantee.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms (in particular Section 7) or applicable law. Upon termination, all your personal data will be deleted within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified in the App. Continued use of the App after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

16. Apple-Specific Provisions (iOS users)

The following provisions apply only to users who downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:

These Terms are a contract between you and Motorix only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.
In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
